Para o gerenciamento e análise das informações dos pacientes em seguimento no Setor de Investigação e Tratamento das Epilepsias, planejamos e implementamos um sistema - SGADE - que combina banco de dados informações clinicas e laboratoriais e testes estatísticos paramétricos e não-paramétricos. O uso do sistema tem mostrado sua confiabilidade nas pesquisas clinicas realizadas neste setor.

This system was planned and implemented for management and analysis of epilepsy data. It combines a database criterious design, where the codes of clinical and laboratorial informations are stored, and the use of refined tecniques of statistical analysis (parametric and non-parametric). The system is user-friendly due to its help-on-line and menu driven oriented approach. In the clinical researchs realized at our service, the system has shown its reliability.
