O Núcleo de Engenharia Hospitalar do CEFET-PRo implantado em 1986. com o apoio da FINEP, vem desenvolvendo um-o conjunto de atividades nas áreas de Engenharia Médica e Hospitalar. Dentre as principais desenvolvidas pode-se destacar a prestaçao de serviços de manutençao corrretiva e preventiva para instituições de saúde, implantaçao de novas equipes, projeto e construçao de protótipos e treinamentos de curta duraçao. Considerando o estado atual. o Núcleo objetiva atuar fortemente na formaçao de recursos humanos, com a implantaçao, no próximo ano, do curso técnico em equipamentos médico-hospitalares; valorizar projetos e construçao de protótipos vinculados ao setor produtivo; prestar serviços de manutençao a um único hospital e assessoramentos à comunidade em geral. Baseado no trabalho já desenvolvido e na demanda crescente de solicitações. o Núcleo apresenta-se como um centro de referência na área para o Estado do Paraná.

The Hospital Engineering Nucleus (NEH) , established in 1986. with the help of FINEP, is developing a number of activities in the MedicaI and Hospital Engineering fields. Among its main activities that have been developed, we may point out the preventive and corrective maintenance service rendered to health institutions. the implanting of new teams. the projecting and building of prototypes and short time training. considering the present situation. the Nucleus aim is to play an active role in the preparation of human resources, with the implantation of a technical course in MedicaI and ClinicaI Equipment the coming year. with emphasis on the projecting and building of prototypes related to the production section and concentrating on maintenance services for one single hospital. as well as giving assistance to the community in general. Based on our work and the growing demando the Nucleus is a reference center to the whole State of Paranà.
